“Tajik State Medical University named after Avicenna”, Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan
The article examines modern approaches to ensuring the quality of medical education in
the context of globalization and growing needs in healthcare. Particular attention is paid to the
role of international standards and accreditation of medical universities, as well as their impact
on the effectiveness of training medical specialists. The key factors affecting the quality of educational programs are analyzed, including academic content, qualifications of teachers, resources and infrastructure, teaching and assessment methods used. Modern innovative educational technologies, such as simulation training, and their impact on the training of specialists
are considered. The advantages of international accreditation are also discussed, including increasing the competitiveness of universities, recognizing the qualifications of specialists at the
international level, developing academic mobility and improving the professional training of
graduates. The article emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement of the educational process to ensure a high level of medical care and strengthen the healthcare system.
